Young Hearts for Life is excited to announce Dr Frank Zimmerman as its new Medical Director.  He has been actively involved with YH4L screenings and ECG interpretation, in addition to research projects and their publications, since 2008.  Dr Zimmerman specializes in Pediatric Cardiology, with emphasis on Pediatric Cardia Electrophysiology at Advocate Children’s Hospital, Loyola University Medical Center, and University of Chicago Children’s Hospital.  His passion for helping children and young adults lead healthy full lives, matched with his medical knowledge and expertise and experience, align perfectly with YH4L’s mission.

Dr Zimmerman attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowships in Chicago and Boston.  He and his wife Katie have raised their three sons in the western suburbs. In his downtime, Dr Zimmerman enjoys biking, fishing and golf.
